How often will I have an ARCP whilst I am LTFT?

RDs training LTFT should have an ARCP not less than annually but at intervals of no more than 15 months but may need an ARCP at a critical progression point in their training. If you are training LTFT you will have more ARCPs than a full time trainee. The number of assessments will be  on a pro-rata basis. The GMC requires that all Doctors working in a training post have an ARCP . The only reason you would not have an ARCP on an annual basis is if you were on maternity leave or long term sick leave. Queries about when your ARCP will be should be directed to the assessment team, please submit an enquiry below.
