ARCP OUTCOME 

Outcome Explanation 

OUTCOME 1 

Progressive Outcome - Achieving progress and capabilities at the expected rate 
 

OUTCOME 2 

Development of specific capabilities required – additional training time not required 

 

OUTCOME 3 

Development of specific capabilities required – additional training time required 

 
 

OUTCOME 4 

Released from training programme with or without specified capabilities 

 
 

OUTCOME 5 
 

Incomplete evidence presented - An assessment of progression cannot be made.  
 

OUTCOME 6 
 

Recommendation for completion of training: 

Achieved all required capabilities for completion of the programme. 

Will be recommended as having completed the training programme (foundation, core or specialty). If in foundation training, will be recommended for award of an FPCC. If in a run-through training programme or higher training programme, will be recommended for award of a CCT. 
 

OUTCOME 8 

Time out of programme for research, clinical experience, career breakor pause. OOPE/OOPR/OOPC/OOPP
