If you have recently been appointed to a training programme eligible for the block cover, you will be contacted by NHS England to confirm whether you want to opt out of your data being shared with Medical Protection Society (MPS). If you do not opt out, your information will be passed on to MPS, who will contact you directly with how to sign up with them.
You are not automatically covered, and you must complete the sign up process with MPS to have indemnity cover, unless you choose to take up cover else where.
If you have already started an eligible training programme in the Midlands and are not sure if you are covered with MPS or not, please contact them directly for further support.
