The system will not let me submit an application, why is that?

If you are trying to submit a retrospective application (ie an activity that starts on the day you're applying or before), the system will not allow you to do so as retrospective applications are not permitted; this will give you a validation error. If there are exceptional circumstances that you wish to discuss, please contact your local Trust/GP Programme Study Leave Coordinator using the contact lists below:


East Midlands Study Leave Coordinators

West Midlands Study Leave Coordinators


If you are trying to apply for a higher number of days than available in your allocation for the year, you will not be able to submit the application. You can check your current allocation under My Entitlements on your Accent Leave Manager account. Please note that there is a separate allocation for curricular and discretionary days, making up your total allocation. If you are applying for an activity which takes places over two placements, you will need to submit two applications one for each placement.


If you are applying for an activity which does not have a valid UK postcode, please leave the venue postcode field blank.
