What is the National Inter Deanery Transfer process?

Created by Matthew King, Modified on Wed, 14 May at 6:35 AM by Matthew King

The national Inter-Deanery transfer (IDT) process supports Resident Doctors in training who have had an unforeseen or significant change in circumstances since accepting an offer of a post in training programmes, or for those who since accepting an offer require a transfer to another region.

The national process is aimed at delivering a user-friendly and transparent transfer process, ensuring consistent and robust decision making and providing a single source of information for all stakeholders.
